Before you decide
Can we create a card from a message?
Not in this one. It runs into the chat so the team sees the board without living in it. If turning a message into a card is what you actually want, describe it and we price it.
How do we keep it quiet enough to read?
Pick the lists and the moves worth posting, and leave the rest out. You can add more later; taking noise away after people have muted the channel is harder.
Can different boards go to different channels?
Yes. Tell us which board goes where while connecting. One channel per team is the usual split, and it keeps each channel worth reading.
What happens to cards in lists we didn't name?
Nothing at all. Only the lists you nominate are watched, so a backlog holding three hundred cards never reaches the channel and nobody has to mute anything.
Do archived cards still post?
Archiving posts once, in the card's own thread, and then that card goes quiet. Nothing else about an archived card reaches the channel, which is how a board clean-up stays out of everyone's way.
Anything to know about Slack?
The bot has to be invited to a channel before it can post there; that's one command in Slack.
Anything to know about Trello?
The token belongs to the member who created it, so cards appear as created by that person, and the connection stops if they leave the workspace.
