How to set up Discord and Trello

- Paste the Discord channel webhook and the Trello key and token

Each screen carries the full guide with the exact menu names, about six minutes for both. - We check both keysEach key is checked against Discord's and Trello's own API the moment you paste it. If one doesn't pass, the screen says what to fix, and a person joins the chat if that isn't enough.

Can we create a card from a message?
Not in this one; it runs into the chat. If a message should become a card, describe it and we price it.
How do we keep it quiet?
Name the lists and the moves worth posting. Everything else stays on the board.
Can different boards post to different channels?
Yes, and it needs a webhook per channel because that is how Discord works. Making three webhooks takes about a minute, and you paste them once.
Can we post to a private channel?
Yes. The webhook is created inside the channel itself, so whatever permissions that channel has are the permissions the posts inherit. Nothing about the board decides who sees what.
How do I integrate Trello with Discord?
Two keys. In Discord open the server settings, then Integrations, then Webhooks, and create a webhook for the channel; in Trello create a Power-Up at trello.com/power-ups/admin and generate a key and token. Paste both in your Dovetly account, name the boards and the lists worth posting, and new cards, moves and comments start arriving in that channel. $39 a month.
What does Trello integrate with?
Ready-made on Dovetly, Trello pairs with Notion, monday.com, HubSpot, Slack, ClickUp, Asana, Discord, Webflow, Telegram and Jira. They all use the same Trello key and token, which belong to the member who created them, so cards appear as that person. Anything else, describe it and a person replies with a price within a working day.

A webhook posts into the one channel it was made for, so a second channel means a second webhook.
