Shopify and Slack, ready to switch on

Every paid order lands in the Slack channel you choose with the items, the total and the delivery town, and refunds, cancellations and carts left above the sum you set get their own post. You paste two keys in your account and it runs, in about ten minutes.

No setup fee, cancel any month, and a person on live chat if a key doesn't work.

Ten minutes of your time, then it's ours

  1. Pay and open your account
Card or invoice, about two minutes. This integration is already selected.
  2. Paste the Shopify Admin API token and the Slack bot token
Each has a short guide. About ten minutes. If one doesn't work, a person joins the chat.
  3. Place one test order
A minute or two. Create a test order in Shopify and watch the post arrive in the channel. From then on we watch it for you.

When Shopify or Slack changes its API, we fix it within a working day. You don't get a ticket to solve.

Before you decide

Every order, really?

If that suits you. Shops with a lot of small orders usually post the ones above a sum they choose and take the rest in the daily line.

Can we answer the buyer from the chat?

Not in this one. It runs into the channel so the team sees the shop without opening it. If you want replies to reach the buyer, describe it and we price it.

Can we post big orders somewhere else?

Yes. Orders above a sum you set can go to their own channel, which is how most teams keep the main channel readable in a busy month.

Does it post test orders?

Not unless you ask for them. Orders placed through Shopify's test payment gateway are skipped, which keeps the channel quiet while you're still setting the shop up.

Anything to know about Shopify?

A custom app's Admin API token is shown once; if you lose it you create a new one from the same screen.

Anything to know about Slack?

The bot has to be invited to a channel before it can post there; that's one command in Slack.

What if mine is a bit different?

Tell us what should go where in plain words. Small changes to the rules above are usually free; bigger ones we price the same day and build into the same account.
