Paste the Google Sheets link and the Stripe restricted key
- Google Sheets link: create or open the spreadsheet, share it with the address our engineer sends you or with anyone who has the link, and paste the link from the address bar. Full Google Sheets guide

Each screen carries the full guide with the exact menu names, about five minutes for both.
We check both keys

Each key is checked against Google Sheets's and Stripe's own API the moment you paste it. If one doesn't pass, the screen says what to fix, and a person joins the chat if that isn't enough.
Make one test payment, then we switch it on

A minute or two. Create a test payment in Stripe and watch its row appear with the amount and the fee. From then on we watch it for you. A person checks the setup and switches it on, within a working day.

When Google Sheets or Stripe changes its API, we fix it within a working day. You don't get a ticket to solve.

Before you decide

Can we get the months before we connected?

Not with this one, it starts the day it's switched on. A back-fill is a one-off job we quote separately, and it is usually cheaper to export those months once by hand.

Does anything get written into Stripe?

No. The key we ask for reads. Nothing in the sheet can create a charge, a refund or a customer.

Will this agree with our bank statement?

That is what the payout tab is for. Each payout row carries the payments inside it, so you match one line in the bank against one line in the sheet instead of adding charges up by hand.

Anything to know about Google Sheets?

Google Sheets doesn't tell anyone when a cell changes, so anything we read back out of a sheet is picked up on a short schedule rather than the moment you type it.

Anything to know about Stripe?

A restricted key with read access can only read. It can't move money, and we never ask for your secret key.

What if mine is a bit different?
