Before you decide
Can we get the months before we connected?
Not with this one, it starts the day you switch it on. A back-fill is a one-off job we quote separately, and it is usually cheaper to export those months once by hand.
Does anything get written into Stripe?
No. The key we ask for reads. Nothing in the sheet can create a charge, a refund or a customer.
Will this agree with our bank statement?
That is what the payout tab is for. Each payout row carries the payments inside it, so you match one line in the bank against one line in the sheet instead of adding charges up by hand.
Anything to know about Google Sheets?
Google Sheets doesn't tell anyone when a cell changes, so anything we read back out of a sheet is picked up on a short schedule rather than the moment you type it.
Anything to know about Stripe?
A restricted key with read access can only read. It can't move money, and we never ask for your secret key.
What if mine is a bit different?
Tell us what should go where in plain words. Small changes to the rules above are usually free; bigger ones we price the same day and build into the same account.
