Mailchimp and HubSpot, ready to switch on

New and updated HubSpot contacts join the Mailchimp audience you choose with a tag saying where they came from, and people who subscribed in Mailchimp appear in the CRM as contacts. You paste two keys in your account and it runs, in about ten minutes.

No setup fee, cancel any month, and a person on live chat if a key doesn't work.

Ten minutes of your time, then it's ours

  1. Pay and open your account
Card or invoice, about two minutes. This integration is already selected.
  2. Paste the Mailchimp API key and the HubSpot private app token
Each has a short guide. About six minutes. If one doesn't work, a person joins the chat.
  3. Add one test contact
A minute or two. Add a contact with your own address in HubSpot and watch it appear on the audience in Mailchimp. From then on we watch it for you.

When Mailchimp or HubSpot changes its API, we fix it within a working day. You don't get a ticket to solve.

Before you decide

Which side owns the contact?

You choose, field by field, and we set it before switching on. The common answer is that the CRM owns the phone and the owner, and the email tool owns consent and tags.

Do unsubscribes really carry over?

Yes, and that is the row worth reading twice. Someone who opts out in Mailchimp is marked in HubSpot within seconds, which is what keeps a manual export from mailing them again.

Which audience do contacts join?

The one you name while connecting, and only that one. Mailchimp bills by audience, so writing a contact into three of them is a decision worth making on purpose rather than by default.

Anything to know about Mailchimp?

The data center is part of the key itself, the bit after the dash, so that one key is all we need to reach your account.

Anything to know about HubSpot?

Private apps are available on the free CRM, so no paid plan is needed for the token.

What if mine is a bit different?

Tell us what should go where in plain words. Small changes to the rules above are usually free; bigger ones we price the same day and build into the same account.
