Before you decide
Which contacts turn into work?
Only the ones carrying a tag you name. That keeps the board about people someone has to act on, not about everyone who ever gave an email address.
Who ends up as the assignee?
The owner from ActiveCampaign when the same person exists in Asana, otherwise the default you pick while connecting. Nothing lands unassigned.
Does every tagged contact become a task?
Only contacts carrying the tag you name, and only once. If your automation adds that tag again later, the existing task is updated rather than a second one appearing in the project.
Can two tags point at two different projects?
Yes. Say which tag means which project while connecting, and each one lands where the work belongs. One tag into one project is where most teams start.
Anything to know about ActiveCampaign?
The API key belongs to the user who made it, so the integration acts with that user's permissions and shows up in the account as that user.
Anything to know about Asana?
A personal access token acts as your user, so tasks are created in your name and only in projects that user can see.
