Calendly and ActiveCampaign, ready to switch on
Everyone who books becomes an ActiveCampaign contact with a tag for the event type and the answers from the booking form in fields, a deal opens in the pipeline you choose, and a cancellation or a no-show swaps the tag so your automations react. You paste two keys in your account and it runs, in about ten minutes.
No setup fee, cancel any month, and a person on live chat if a key doesn't work.
More with these apps: all Calendly integrations · all ActiveCampaign integrations
ActiveCampaign already integrates with Calendly.
It does: ActiveCampaign's help says it syncs contacts and their event information whenever they book, and Calendly's page says contacts can be added to lists or segments from the booking. If that covers you, use it. This pair is for the rules around it: tags per event type, deals opened, and cancellations and no-shows turned into tags your automations can act on, with a person watching it.
What moves, and when
The details you would normally get after a sales call. Here they are up front.
| What | Direction | When | Rule |
|---|---|---|---|
| Booking becomes a contact | Calendly to ActiveCampaign | Within seconds | Matched by email or created, with a tag for the event type and the booking date in a field |
| Form answers into fields | Calendly to ActiveCampaign | With every booking | Each booking question you map lands in a contact field, including UTM tags if your link carries them |
| Deal in the pipeline you choose | Calendly to ActiveCampaign | With every booking | Optional, so a demo booked is a deal opened, with the meeting date on it |
| Cancelled and rescheduled | Calendly to ActiveCampaign | Within seconds | The booked tag comes off and a cancelled tag goes on, so a reminder sequence stops |
| No-show | Calendly to ActiveCampaign | When you mark it in Calendly | A no-show tag, which is usually where a rebooking automation starts |

Ways to connect Calendly and ActiveCampaign
Three ways people connect these two, and what each one asks of you. The built-in app is described above.
Before you decide
Which event types count?
All of them or the ones you name, each with its own tag. Most teams tag the sales call and keep internal meetings out of ActiveCampaign.
Does it send the reminders?
No. Calendly keeps sending its own confirmations and reminders. This adds tags and fields in ActiveCampaign so your own automations can react to a booking, a cancellation or a no-show.
Anything to know about Calendly?
The phone number comes from your booking form, so add the phone question and make it required if messages should reach the people who book.
Anything to know about ActiveCampaign?
The API key belongs to the user who made it, so the integration acts with that user's permissions and shows up in the account as that user.
What if mine is a bit different?
Tell us what should go where in plain words. Small changes to the rules above are usually free; bigger ones we price the same day and build into the same account.
