Can we create a task from a message?
Not in this one. It runs into the chat so the team sees the board without living in it. If turning a message into a task is what you actually want, describe it and we price it.
How do we keep it quiet enough to read?
Pick the lists and the moves worth posting, and leave the rest out. You can add more later; taking noise away after people have muted the channel is harder.
Do comments really come through?
Yes, with the author and the first lines, in that task's thread. A long comment is cut with a link back to ClickUp so the channel stays readable.
Can each list post to its own channel?
Yes. Tell us which list belongs where while connecting. Teams that put everything in one channel usually come back a week later asking for exactly this.
Anything to know about ClickUp?
The personal token acts as you, so tasks the integration creates show your name as their creator. A user made for the integration keeps that tidy.
Anything to know about Slack?
The bot has to be invited to a channel before it can post there; that's one command in Slack.
