monday.com and Stripe, ready to switch on

Payments, failed charges, disputes and cancelled subscriptions become items on the board you choose, with the amount, the customer and the reason Stripe gives in the columns you mapped. You paste two keys in your account and it runs, in about ten minutes.

No setup fee, cancel any month, and a person on live chat if a key doesn't work.

Ten minutes of your time, then it's ours

  1. Pay and open your account
Card or invoice, about two minutes. This integration is already selected.
  2. Paste the monday.com API token and the Stripe restricted key
Each has a short guide. About five minutes. If one doesn't work, a person joins the chat.
  3. Make one test payment
A minute or two. Run a test payment in Stripe and watch the item appear in the board with the amount on it.

When monday.com or Stripe changes its API, we fix it within a working day. You don't get a ticket to solve.

Before you decide

Does anything go back into Stripe?

No. Money is read, never written. Closing a item changes nothing about the payment, which is how it should be.

Which events deserve a item?

Start with failures and disputes, since those have a deadline. Successful payments are worth a item only if somebody actually does something when one arrives.

Why put payments on a board rather than in a report?

Because a board makes somebody responsible. A failed charge in a report is a number; the same failure as an item with an owner and a date is work that gets done.

Anything to know about monday.com?

The API is GraphQL and priced by complexity, so a big backfill arrives in steps rather than all at once, while day to day changes are immediate.

Anything to know about Stripe?

A restricted key with read access can only read. It can't move money, and we never ask for your secret key.

What if mine is a bit different?

Tell us what should go where in plain words. Small changes to the rules above are usually free; bigger ones we price the same day and build into the same account.
