ClickUp and Stripe, ready to switch on

Every failed charge, dispute and cancelled subscription opens the ClickUp task somebody has to act on, with the amount, the customer and the reason Stripe gives. You paste two keys in your account and it runs, in about ten minutes.

No setup fee, cancel any month, and a person on live chat if a key doesn't work.

Ten minutes of your time, then it's ours

  1. Pay and open your account
Card or invoice, about two minutes. This integration is already selected.
  2. Paste the ClickUp API token and the Stripe restricted key
Each has a short guide. About five minutes. If one doesn't work, a person joins the chat.
  3. Make one test payment
A minute or two. Run a test payment in Stripe and watch the task appear in the list with the amount on it.

When ClickUp or Stripe changes its API, we fix it within a working day. You don't get a ticket to solve.

Before you decide

Does anything go back into Stripe?

No. Money is read, never written. Closing a task changes nothing about the payment, which is how it should be.

Which events deserve a task?

Start with failures and disputes, since those have a deadline. Successful payments are worth a task only if somebody actually does something when one arrives.

Do successful payments become tasks too?

Only if somebody actually does something when one arrives. Most teams take failures and disputes as tasks and let the good news go to a channel instead, because a task nobody acts on is noise.

Anything to know about ClickUp?

The personal token acts as you, so tasks the integration creates show your name as their creator. A user made for the integration keeps that tidy.

Anything to know about Stripe?

A restricted key with read access can only read. It can't move money, and we never ask for your secret key.

What if mine is a bit different?

Tell us what should go where in plain words. Small changes to the rules above are usually free; bigger ones we price the same day and build into the same account.
